In 1986, Timothy Dowd founded a company that delivered warm meals and snacks to workers in the Worcester area. The success of Morning Services convinced Mullin to start the Family Doughnuts a small shop in Watertown, Massachusetts. Three years later Family Doughnuts changed its name to A Piece Of Fancy.
